The countdown has begun. In one week, I will be on a plane. I will be on a plane heading to Italy to study abroad for a full semester. While I'm there I plan on seeing anything and everything I have time to see, meeting as many new people as humanly possible, and having the time of my life.
As I sit here and fantasize about the adventures and shenanigans I will find myself being apart of, I couldn't be more terrified. Three and half months away from family and friends that are part of my every day existence. What's a girl to do?
Maybe I should pack... Yes. You heard right. I'm leaving the country for almost four months and I have yet to even make a packing list, let alone pack even one article of clothing. How does one begin to pack for such a lengthy period of time. I don't know what time I'm waking up in the morning, or even if I'll bother having breakfast. How am I suppose I know what I'll want to wear a week from now, let alone three months from now?
Aside from the rant of panic, confusion, excitement, terror, and wonder that has been rushing through my mind all day and night since my orientation, I still have to figure out how to make this last week one to remember, while still finishing all my errands for my trip. Let the rush begin. The countdown has begun!
